BUILDING SURVEYS & AIR CHANGES
If your systems aren't operating as expected or you are unsure of the equipment installed in you building, we are able to perform HVAC building surveys to help optimize your system. We also provide air change surveys to make sure your areas are getting proper ventilation in your areas, which has become important to schools. hospitals, and surgery centers during the COVID pandemic.
GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
Test and Balancing, Inc is able to perform work in the most secured government buildings. We have performed work at the White House, Pentagon, Ft Meade, Washington Navy Yard and all major bases around the DMV. We also perfrom work on local county government buildings, courthouses and waster water treatment plants. Our work has even taken us to Japan to perform work on our bases.
HOSPITALS
Providing services to large and small hospitals all over the DMV area. We also provide services to smaller ambulatory centers, surgery centers and doctors offices. Some of our largest clients include Inova Hospital Centers, University of Maryland Medical Systems, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Sentara Healthcare just to name a few.
SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
Test and Balancing, Inc. provides services to schools all over the DMV area. We have performed work in the following counties in Maryland: Baltimore, Baltimore City, Charles, Howard, Harford, Prince Georges and Montgomery. We have performed work on over 50 public and private schools in the past 10 years. We have also been contracted to perform work on most of the colleges in the DMV area. We have provide work on dorm renovations, arenas, health suites, research labs. We are currently working on a major expansion at Towson University.
CONDOS AND MIXED USE
We have performed work on several recent mixed use renovations and new construction. Most recently we performed work on the renovation of the old Water Reed Medical Center in DC. We also recently completed work on Anthem Row at 700 K Street in DC. One of the largest mixed use projects we worked on was the DC City Center.
DATA CENTERS
Test and Balancing has extensive experience in working with the delicate nature of data centers. We have performed work in data centers for AOL, Above Net, Latysis, Microsoft, Amazon and John Hopkins Hospital.
RETAIL
We provide services to all diverse retail spaces. We have performed services at Starbucks, Safeway, Sears, Mission BBQ, Crave, Whole Foods, Chick Fil-A, Pizza Hut, Bank of America, Auto Zone, Game Stop and Verizon just to name a few.
LABORATORY
Test and Balancing has been trusted by many contractors to perform work in the most secure and delicate data centers. We have extensive knowledge on the following Laboratories we have worked on: National Institutes of Health, MedImmune, WR Grace, Cambrex Bio Science and US Pharmacopeia. In 2010, we worked on the $300 million research and technology campus at Richmond Phillip Morris Campus.
AIRPORTS
Since 2008 Test and Balancing has worked with contractors and MWAA to perform over $700,000 worth or work just alone Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. We also service Baltimore/Washinting International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
CASINOS
Test and Balancing performed the balancing work on the MD Live! Casino in Hanover, MD. Since our original work, we have been contracted by several different contractors to perform additional work over the years.
